Amber and her daughter were both diagnosed with Alopecia areata (also known as spot baldness), and her daughter with a "mystery" (unexplained) skin condition as diagnosed by a physician.

Consequently, Amber was inspired to start a line of haircare products after facing difficulties with her and her daughter's hair and skin. She was determined to keep it healthy. Driven by her concern and curiosity about her and her daughter's condition, Amber soon began to delve into the study of the scalp and skin, creating products that nourish and address common scalp and skin issues.

Blessed With Kinks' core mission is to create a healthy environment where the scalp and hair can flourish.
