Amber and her daughter were both diagnosed with Alopecia areata (also known as spot baldness) and her daughter with a 'mystery' (unexplained) skin condition by a physician. She was inspired to start a line of haircare products after being troubled by the state of her and her daughter’s hair and skin. Amber was determined to keep it healthy and chemical-free. She began researching the internal body, the skin, and its functions. Her concern and curiosity about her and her daughter’s conditions intensified her study of the scalp and skin. She soon created products that nourish and address common scalp and skin issues. Blessed With Kinks core mission is to create a healthy environment where the scalp and hair can flourish.
